The general assumption is that apprenticeships are for young people. However, companies such as Barclays are now breaking the mould and creating initiatives such as their Bolder Apprenticeships scheme which over 24’s can be a part of. Barclays recognise that apprenticeships should be a viable route into employment for everybody regardless of age or social circumstances.
